Canada geese are abundant
in the area - especially in winter after the lakes freeze over.
Bald
eagles congregate at the tailrace in the winter. They usually feed on fish,
but this one happened upon a rabbit.
The Sportsman's Complex is located in Riverdale, ND where almost 50% of the surrounding land is public access hunting.
This unique sportsman's retreat is the former Riverdale Elementary School. Many former students return to hunt and fish instead of study. Many have said they enjoy sleeping in their old classrooms.
